Playing your non-region 2 DVD movies is very easy. There are actually
three ways to do it:
Code 1: Hold down L1, Circle, and Select (40% success)
Code 2: Press in L3 (the left analog stick) straight and hard. (60%
success)
Code 3:
(1) Insert a first-generation PlayStation pad
(i.e., not an analog controller) in Control Port 1 of the PS2.
(2) Insert DVD Hold UP on the pad until the DVD menu appears.
(3) Highlight the play icon and select it. (95% success)
