Pessoal...
Valeu...
Hi Ron,
Hankster here. I have been collecting Intellivision since 1980. I
have quite a collection (brag, brag) and am currently expanding it to
include Digiplay. I would love to find out what you have aviailable
for trade (or sale). I would also like to learn more about you and
your family. I should start by telling you a little about me. I
work for the US Government on a small island in the middle of the
pacific ocean about 800 miles South Southwest of Hawaii. I have a
wife and 4 children. The children are now scattered around the US in
different states. Back in 1979 I was mad at the world (and in
particular Mattel) for doing the test market for Intellivision in
California and just about got a divorce because my wife would not
move to California so I could get one right now instead of waiting
until 1980 when they would be released to the rest of the US. My
wife refers to Intellivision as my "Mistress" and says I love
Intellivision more than I do her. But I tell her "Of course I don't,
Intellivision can't cook!"
No one besides me has ever seen my collection and I have only told a
hand full of people about it, so if you are interested and have about
an hour to read all the stuff I write please let me know.
I currently have about 17 Digiplay carts with manuals and overlays
but they are not in the best of condition. For some reason I think
it is great to get games like Atlantis, Pitfall and such in the
original Mattel casings.
So please if you have any you would like to trade or sell please send
me a list. Well I've most likely bored you to death by now so I hope
to hear from you later and it's nice to have you aboard in the group.
Thanks,
Hankster
